Unfinished

She woke up with a shudder
startled, unnerved
she didnt realise where she was
she looked around the room
only to find bare walls
she tried to raise her head from the pillow
only to feel a sharp pain in the head
she lay back
a lady dressed in white appeared
and disappeared
slowly heads began to appear in the room
she saw familiar faces
heard familiar voices
felt a familiar touch
but she was numb
numb to all the buzz around her
her eyes searched for him, in vain
she didn't realise when she fell asleep again
she woke up amidst loved ones
but he was still missing
she gathered the courage to ask about him
they said they didnt knw
they said they hadn't heard of him for 10 yrs
she was taken aback
they calmed her down
explained to her that she had slept rather long
10 years
10 years of unconsciousness
she was shattered
there she was waiting to start a new life with him
only to wake up to find him gone
where was he?
why was he not by her side?
he said he loved her
had he forgotten her?
had he moved on in life?
moved on without her..........????
